The average annual cost of college tuition in Texas is $10,548. That means that before a child reaches school age, a parent is already paying 73% of the equivalent of a four year college degree for child care.

In Austin, 13.5% of families are below the federal poverty line. We receive calls everyday from families looking for affordable child care, especially if they have more than one child. At the Center we currently have 55% of our families fall within 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and 13% fall in the 200 percent of the current 2019 Federal Poverty Guidelines.
