Hello! My name is Alma Lyra and I am the Executive Director of El Buen Pastor Early Childhood Development Center (the Center). The Center has been serving the Austin community for 45 years. Mission
Statement
El Buen Pastor Early Childhood Development Center is designed to give each child the assurance of a rich and stimulating environment that enhances their unique and independent growth. The curriculum encourages and promotes physical, emotional, social, and cognitive learning. Fine gross motor skills are developed through physical exercise. Snacks and cooking activities are included for tasty enjoyment and nutritional development. Menus are planned with a variety of foods providing the greatest nutrition possible. The activities in which the children participate in nurture their minds as well as their bodies.
